Appointments

Amber Counselling Service is currently offering video call (‘teletherapy’) and telephone appointments. For security, only highly encrypted platforms are used for teletherapy. If you choose teletherapy Niki can send you a link and help you get started when you make an appointment.

Sessions last one hour, and are generally weekly. There is no fixed time limit on how many sessions you may attend. In the initial session you and your therapist will discuss whether to meet for a specified number of sessions. It may be preferable not to fix an end date, but to have periodic reviews to decide when it feels right to end.

You are free to talk about whatever issues are important to you, and to end therapy whenever you like.

Fees*

Private consultations:

Individuals: £50 per hour (60 minutes)

Couples: £70 per hour

Supervision (for therapists and support workers): £50 per hour

Private fees are payable on the day the appointment. Payment is usually by bank transfer or PayPal.

Organisations and groups:

Contracts for counselling, coaching and supervision: £60-£90 per hour. Contracted work is payable within 30 days of invoice.
